A late 20th-century stained hardwood 31-day regulator-style wall clock with FR mark - A mechanical wall clock produced in the mid-to-late 20th century, designed in a traditional European regulator style. The case is constructed from stained hardwood with a dark reddish-brown finish. It features a shaped pediment decorated with a central carved floral motif and flanked by turned finials. The glazed door is bordered by fluted pilasters, and the base is finished with four turned drop finials. The dial consists of a cream-coloured chapter ring with black Roman numerals and an outer minute track with Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals. It is set within a polished brass-toned bezel and features black spade and pointer hands. The dial bears a maker's mark consisting of the letters FR within a rectangle, positioned above the text 31 DAY. The clock is equipped with a mechanical 31-day spring-driven movement and features two winding arbors on the dial face. The brass-toned pendulum bob is decorated with the letters R and A for timing adjustment.
