A Vintage Dutch Style Carved Wooden Wine Bottle Holder in the Form of a Clog - A decorative wine bottle holder designed in the form of a traditional Dutch clog or klomp. The object is constructed from carved wood with a graduated stain finish, transitioning from a dark brown at the heel and toe to a warm amber tone in the centre. The toe is decorated with incised and painted foliate motifs in a light contrasting colour. A hinged wooden lever arm is attached to the heel, functioning as a clamp for a bottle neck, and a broad brown strap is secured across the instep with metal studs. The piece exhibits two adhesive stickers: an orange tag on the lever arm inscribed with 105 and a small white sticker inside the footbed marked 13.
