A Collection of Chinese Export Rose Medallion Porcelain Wares - A collection of Chinese export porcelain decorated in the Rose Medallion pattern with polychrome overglaze Famille Rose enamels. The collection includes a large punch bowl, further bowls, and a baluster-form vase. Each piece features characteristic alternating trapezoidal panels depicting courtly figure scenes in garden and pavilion settings alongside panels of birds, butterflies, and floral sprays. These panels are separated by gilded grounds decorated with scrollwork and auspicious motifs. The interior centre of the primary punch bowl features a circular floral medallion. The palette is dominated by shades of rose-pink and green enamels on a white porcelain ground. The decoration is applied both to the interior and exterior of the bowls.
