A Collection of Mason English Ironstone Tablewares in the Imari Style - Attributed to Mason's, this collection of English ironstone tablewares is decorated in the Mandalay pattern. The items feature a traditional Imari palette comprising underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron-red with pink floral accents and gilt highlights to the rims and handles. The decoration is achieved through transfer-printed outlines with hand-painted colour infill. The collection includes a large lidded twin-handled soup tureen with a notched lid, octagonal-bodied jugs of varying sizes with scrolling handles, a lidded vegetable dish of lobed rectangular form, a shallow pedestal bowl, a small shaped dish with a scalloped edge, and a handled serving plate from a tiered stand. No manufacturer marks are visible on the surfaces shown in the images.
