The female figure is portrayed wearing an elaborate lace-trimmed bonnet and a bodice in shades of green and cream, accented with three applied pink rosebuds and a black bow. The male figure features powdered hair tied back, a beige jacket, and a highly detailed ruffled jabot adorned with a black bow and applied pink rosebuds. Both figures are mounted on integral, ornate scroll-moulded bases finished in a white glaze with gilt-painted accents. The pieces are constructed from glazed and hand-painted porcelain with intricate, applied three-dimensional floral and lace-effect details. No maker marks are visible to the exterior; the items bear contemporary identification stickers.
