Two Pieces of 19th Century Style Copperware comprising a Lidded Kettle and a Helmet Coal Scuttle - This lot comprises two items of traditional copper domestic ware, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The first item is a lidded copper kettle or vessel of unusual rectangular form with rounded corners. It features a side-mounted strap handle secured with rivets, a short curved spout, and a fitted lid. The second item is a traditional helmet-style copper coal scuttle, featuring a scoop-shaped body with a rolled rim, a swing bale handle, and a fixed rear handle. Both pieces exhibit hand-assembled construction and are characteristic of Victorian or Edwardian hearth and kitchen accessories. No maker marks are visible on either piece.
