A Pair of George II Style Polished Brass Candlesticks - A matching pair of brass candlesticks designed in the mid-18th-century George II style. Each candlestick comprises a flared sconce set upon a baluster-turned stem with knopped sections. The stems terminate in weighted, stepped square bases featuring notched corners. Both pieces have a bright, highly polished surface. Two-part adhesive auction inventory stickers are present on the bases, marked with the numerals 11 and 151. There are no visible manufacturer stamps or hallmarks.
