Early 20th Century Stained Hardwood Folding Card Table - An early 20th-century folding card or bridge table. The frame and legs are constructed from a dark-stained hardwood. The base features a folding X-frame design with decoratively shaped S-curved legs joined by a central pivoting mechanism. The top is currently draped with a decorative cream-coloured textile featuring intricate embroidered and lace-work patterns. The underlying tabletop surface is obscured but traditionally would consist of a wooden panel often inset with baize. No maker's marks, labels, or stamps are visible.
