A Large Mid-20th Century Aluminium Swing-Handle Kettle - A large vintage picnic or domestic kettle of spun and press-formed aluminium construction. The vessel features a wide, stable base and a curved spout. The aluminium swing handle is secured to the body with rivets and features a turned grip fashioned from wood or a dark composite material. The lid is topped with a central finial. A circular maker's mark is stamped onto the shoulder of the body, featuring a crown motif at the top of a circular border, a style consistent with mid-century British metalware manufacturers. The interior remains unexamined.
