A Trio of Vintage Vanity and Personal Care Items Including a Gilt Metal Hand Mirror and Two Bamboo Back Scratchers - This lot consists of an ornate vintage hand mirror and two bamboo back scratchers. The handheld vanity mirror is constructed from cast metal with a gilt finish. It features an elaborate openwork handle and frame decorated with scrolled foliate and classical motifs. The mirror head is of a flared, rectangular form with a decorative beaded border surrounding the glass. The two bamboo back scratchers vary in design; one has a flat construction with simple pyrography scorched line decoration, while the other features a rounded cylindrical shaft. Both terminate in traditional stylized hand-shaped scratchers. No manufacturer marks were identified on any of the pieces. The style of the mirror is consistent with vanity wares from the early to mid-20th century.
