A Collection of Ironstone Tea Wares in the Mandalay Pattern Attributed to Mason's - A collection of ironstone ceramics decorated in the Mandalay pattern, attributed to Mason's. The items feature traditional English Imari style decoration with underglaze cobalt blue borders and overglaze iron-red, pink, and yellow floral motifs. The designs are further enhanced with elaborate gilded highlights. The collection comprises a teapot with a domed lid and a scrolling handle, which rests on a shaped rectangular stand with scalloped edges. Also included are a cream jug and an open sugar bowl, both situated on a matching shaped rectangular tray. The decoration appears to be achieved through a combination of transfer-printing and hand-painted enamel details. The items currently bear orange and white auction labels.
