A Collection of English Polychrome Transferware Tableware in the Regency Pattern - A collection of polychrome transfer-printed earthenware tableware decorated in the Regency pattern, attributed to Mason's Patent Ironstone. The assembly includes several double-handled bouillon or soup cups with matching saucers, a small pitcher, and sections of larger plates or platters. The decoration follows a chinoiserie style, featuring a central motif of a long-tailed bird amongst large blue and yellow blossoms and smaller floral sprigs. The design is executed in a palette of cobalt blue, yellow, and shades of pink and red on a cream earthenware body. The rims are finished with a continuous border of scrolling geometric and floral patterns. No factory marks are visible on the upper surfaces of the pieces shown.
