A Collection of Blue and White Transferware in the Asiatic Pheasant Pattern - A collection of blue and white transfer-printed earthenware tablewares in the Asiatic Pheasant pattern, likely of late nineteenth or early twentieth-century British manufacture. The group comprises three graduated oval platters with scalloped and moulded rims, a small twin-handled oval dish, and a cream jug or sauce boat featuring a scrolled handle. Each piece is decorated with the characteristic transfer-printed scene of birds amongst dense floral and foliate sprays in cobalt blue on a white ground. No factory marks or backstamps are visible on the pieces. The items currently bear orange price stickers and a white lot sticker.
