A Vintage Mechanical Rotary Hearth Bellows of Wooden and Metal Construction - A mechanical rotary hearth bellows featuring a large spoked wooden wheel mounted on a shaped base. The wheel is designed to drive an internal fan housed within a cylindrical drum, which is finished with decorative metal studs. The wooden base features a scalloped edge and terminates in a tapered metal nozzle. The piece is constructed from dark-stained wood with brass or copper-toned metal components. A small, illegible white label is affixed to the upper surface of the fan housing. No manufacturer marks are visible.
