Vintage British Industrial Signal Hand Lamp - A hand-held signal lantern, constructed from sheet steel with remains of a red painted finish. The rectangular lamp features a large dark bullseye lens set within a recessed housing and is fitted with a curved metal handle. This design is characteristic of signalling equipment used by British Railways and for roadworks during the mid-20th century, often attributed to makers such as Chalwyn. No maker's marks or inscriptions are visible on the exterior surfaces.
