Victorian Style Gilt Metal and Glass Swinging Lantern Table Lamp - A Gothic Revival style table lamp modelled as a swinging carriage lantern. The frame and base are made of cast gilt-metal or brass, featuring ornate foliate and scrollwork decoration. The lantern has a hexagonal form with leaded metal frames containing glass panels, which appear to have a frosted or textured finish. The lantern is suspended on a curved support arm that rises from a decorative pedestal base. Small white adhesive labels marked with the number 20 are present on the base. The lamp has been converted for electrical use and is fitted with a modern white flex and a UK three-pin plug.
