Dutch Zaanse Style Weight Driven Wall Clock Attributed to Warmink - This Dutch Zaanse style wall clock is a mid-20th-century reproduction of the traditional 17th-century Zaandam design, commonly attributed to makers such as Warmink or Wuba. The clock features a stained wooden case with a shaped backplate and an arched hood. Decorative brass-tone barley-twist pillars flank the dial assembly. The circular white chapter ring is detailed with black Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals for the minutes. It is fitted with ornate, pierced brass-tone hands set against a textured centre. The dial is framed by a decorative brass plate featuring scrollwork and winged cherub motifs. The clock is powered by a mechanical movement and is accompanied by two pear-shaped brass-cased weights and a brass chain. An orange adhesive sticker with the handwritten number 126 is present on the side of the wooden case, and a small white sticker with the number 55 is located on the backplate.
