A Collection of Vintage Meccano Construction Toy Parts in a Wooden Box - An assortment of vintage Meccano construction toy components housed in a vintage wooden storage box. The collection includes a variety of mechanical parts such as brass gears, pulleys, sprockets, and perforated strips and plates in red and green enamelled tinplate. Also present are numerous steel rods, nuts, bolts, wooden reels with green cord, and white cotton string. One component in the top-left compartment features a white circular mark inscribed MECCANO and FABRIQUÉ EN ANGLETERRE, identifying the parts as manufactured in England for the French-speaking market. The items are contained within a non-original four-compartment wooden box with a blue painted exterior, a hinged lid, and a metal clasp. The lot includes two paper auction labels: a white label marked 5 on the interior lid and an orange label marked 140 on the side of the box.
