World, mid-20th C. Collection of Stamps in Pelham Junior Album - A Pelham Junior Stamp Album with a blue textured leatherette binding and gold-blocked title lettering. The album contains a collection of global postage stamps, primarily from the mid-20th century. Visible pages include issues from Czechoslovakia (Československo) and New Zealand, including dependencies such as Niue and Aitutaki. The Czechoslovakian section comprises definitive and commemorative stamps featuring portraits of figures such as Ludwig van Beethoven and Bedřich Smetana, indigenous wildlife including a badger and fish, and industrial motifs, with denominations in Haléř (h) and Koruna (Kčs). The New Zealand pages include issues depicting Queen Elizabeth II, native flora and fauna such as the tui and bellbird, and the 1960 Westland Centennial commemorative series.
