Three 19th Century Brass Domestic Utility Items including a Clockwork Meat Jack - A trio of antique brass utility items comprising a large pail, a saucepan, and a mechanical meat jack. The large pail is of deep, straight-sided form with two wrought iron loop handles secured by copper rivet plates. The saucepan features a shallow bowl with a pouring lip and a long wrought iron handle attached with three copper rivets. The third item is a cylindrical brass clockwork meat jack, also known as a bottle jack, designed with a hanging hook and a T-bar mechanism for rotating meat during roasting. All items are fabricated from sheet brass with wrought iron components and copper rivets. There are no visible maker's marks or hallmarks present on any of the pieces.
