Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Figure of a Hunter with Hounds - A Victorian Staffordshire pottery group figure depicting a huntsman with two hounds. The central figure is dressed in a black top hat, a cobalt blue frock coat over a yellow waistcoat, and orange-red breeches, holding a brown-painted fowling piece across his chest. He is accompanied by two spotted hunting dogs; one smaller white hound with black spots at his feet and a larger brown-spotted hound standing on a raised section of the base. The group is positioned in front of a small bocage tree featuring red and blue accents, set on a textured green base. The piece is constructed from lead-glazed earthenware with hand-painted overglaze enamel decoration. Two small contemporary adhesive labels are present on the upper surface of the base. No maker marks are visible.
