Each piece depicts a putto or cherub figure standing beside a large, cobalt blue trumpet shaped flower that functions as a small vase or spill holder. The flower stems are modelled as yellow and brown woven baskets decorated with green leaves and grape clusters. The cherub figures are partially draped with green sashes and stand on irregular, earth toned bases with green and yellow accents. The items feature the vibrant, translucent lead glazes characteristic of the majolica tradition. No impressed or painted maker marks, factory stamps, or signatures are visible. Both figurines bear small, rectangular white adhesive labels on their bases with the printed number 14.
