A Lead Crystal Spirit Decanter and Five Tumblers - A lead crystal spirit decanter and matching set of five tumblers. The glassware features a classic deep-cut geometric pattern consisting of a band of interlocking criss-cross diamonds beneath vertical wedge and fan-shaped cuts. The decanter is of a bulbous form with a tapered neck and is topped with a multi-faceted stopper. The tumblers are of a heavy-bottomed cylindrical form. The high clarity and precision of the hand-cut facets are characteristic of fine lead crystal produced by British or Irish manufacturers. One tumbler bears a circular white adhesive label on the rim with the handwritten number 10, and the decanter shoulder bears a rectangular orange adhesive label with the handwritten number 82. No etched manufacturer marks or signatures were visible on the bodies or bases of the pieces.
