A Collection of Sylvac and Other Ceramic Animal Figurines - This collection comprises a pair of Sylvac Scottish Terrier figurines and two additional matte black ceramic animal figurines. The pair of seated Scottish Terriers is finished in a mottled green glaze with darker green accents highlighting the textured coat, ears, and facial features. One dog features clear incised marks to the base including RdNo 778500, SYLVAC, 1209, and MADE IN ENGLAND, indicating the design dates to approximately 1932. The other figurines include a ceramic poodle in a stylized lion clip with textured pom-poms on the limbs and tail, and a seated cat with hand-painted almond-shaped green eyes. Both the poodle and cat are finished in a matte black glaze and do not bear visible maker marks.
