The knife blades are constructed from stainless steel and are fitted with cream-coloured synthetic handles. The blades bear various maker's marks including Pearson & Sons Ltd, Sheffield, and Musgraves & Co, Sheffield. The forks and spoons are of silver-plated construction. The set is presented in a red textured rexine case with a brown velvet-lined fitted interior.
