A Collection of Late 19th and Early 20th Century Decorative Ceramic Vases and Ewers - A collection of decorative ceramic vessels comprising five pieces of varying styles and origins. The group includes a large bulbous vase with a cylindrical neck, crafted from cream-toned earthenware with a fine overall crackle glaze, decorated with hand-painted Chinese export style floral motifs and a geometric rim border. A twin-handled ovoid vase features blue panels, raised gilt scrolling, and a central hand-painted floral medallion on a yellow ground. The collection also contains a pair of ornate ewers with high scrolled handles and scalloped pouring spouts, featuring relief-moulded scrollwork and hand-painted floral details in a pastel palette. Completing the group is a small globular vase with a ruffled rim, featuring heavy raised-gilt moriage scrollwork and a central band of hand-painted purple and yellow roses. Several pieces bear small white labels with the numeral 2 and orange labels marked 120. No manufacturer stamps or signatures are visible to the exterior surfaces.
