A Collection of Antique English Silver Plated and Mother-of-Pearl Handled Dessert Flatware - A collection of assorted English silver-plated flatware, primarily consisting of Victorian and Edwardian era dessert and fish knives and forks. The group includes multiple pieces featuring mother-of-pearl handles secured with decorative chased metal ferrules. Other examples possess cream-coloured handles of bone or celluloid construction, including a fork with a decoratively carved terminal. The metal components are predominantly electroplated nickel silver, with many of the blades and tines displaying engraved or chased foliate and scrolling ornamentation. One knife blade is clearly stamped with the mark EPNS, while other pieces bear smaller, indistinct manufacturer marks on the ferrules and bolsters. The lot also contains a plain metal spoon and a small two-pronged fork of a later period.
