A Collection of Vintage Children's Puzzles and Games including Glevum Series and Denys Fisher - An assortment of vintage children's playthings. The lot includes a Glevum Series jigsaw puzzle box with a paper lithographic lid depicting two hunting dogs and game birds in a landscape. The manufacturer is Roberts Bros Ltd of Gloucester, as indicated by the Glevum Series branding. A second cardboard puzzle box is marked foreign in script to the lower left and features an illustration of three dogs with a bowl. Also present is a partial box for the Denys Fisher Haunted House board game. The collection is completed by a wooden tray containing loose plastic building components, including red and white blocks and a grey baseplate, accompanied by a partial box for a building set showing a yellow house. The puzzle and game boxes are constructed from cardboard with applied lithographic paper illustrations.
