Three Ceramic Items Including a Japanese Imari Style Porcelain Dish and Two Glazed Stoneware Vessels - This lot comprises three ceramic items: a large decorated porcelain dish and two pieces of glazed stoneware. The Japanese porcelain dish features a lobed, scalloped rim and is hand-painted in a traditional Imari palette of underglaze blue, overglaze iron-red, and gilt highlights. The central well contains a circular medallion with a floral spray, while the border consists of six alternating panels showing floral sprays on a white ground and stylized motifs on a cobalt blue ground. The reverse of this dish is decorated with four underglaze blue scrolling floral motifs (photo 2). A small white rectangular adhesive label reading 19 19 is affixed to the interior surface (photo 1). There is no legible maker's name present. The second item is a shallow stoneware dish of irregular form, finished in a glossy mottled drip-glaze that transitions from orange and ochre at the rim to purple and blue in the centre. It bears a white rectangular adhesive label reading 19 19 (photo 1). The third item is a round stoneware bowl with straight-sloping sides, featuring a dark metallic-brown tenmoku-style glaze to the interior and a contrasting yellowish-brown glaze band at the rim. It also carries a white rectangular adhesive label reading 19 19 (photo 1). No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on either stoneware piece.
