A Victorian revival brass floor lamp with a ribbed green glass shade - This brass floor lamp is constructed in the style of a traditional oil lamp, featuring a globular reservoir with embossed foliate decoration and a reeded central band. The lamp is supported by a tapering stem with knopped and reeded sections, terminating in a tripod base with decorative scrolled feet. It is fitted with a cased glass shade in a mint-green hue, featuring a vertically ribbed pattern and a flared rim. The lamp has been converted for electrical use and is equipped with a pierced brass gallery and a modern white electrical cable exiting from the base. An orange adhesive price sticker reading 28 is attached to the exterior of the glass shade (photo 3). No manufacturer names or maker's marks are visible on the font, stem, or base. Sold as untested; as a vintage electrical item, it should be inspected and rewired by a qualified professional before use.
