A Collection of Mid-Century Style Hand-Blown Art Glass Sculptures and Figurines - This assortment comprises several pieces of hand-blown art glass featuring techniques and forms characteristic of the mid-20th century. The collection includes a sculpture in emerald green glass, formed as a thick loop that tapers to a point, accented with an applied clear glass stylized bird crest. A sommerso technique sculpture is present, featuring a vibrant red core encased in thick clear glass, pulled into two sharp, opposing points. Also included is a cobalt blue glass dish in the form of a stylized bird, featuring a scalloped rim and internal silvery-white textures. This blue piece has an applied clear glass neck and a dark glass tail; it bears a small white rectangular adhesive label with the handwritten numeral 7 on the neck and a small fluorescent orange rectangular adhesive label with the handwritten numeral 42 on the bowl. The final piece is a small clear glass bird figurine featuring internal controlled bubbling, known as bullicante, and a textured fan-shaped tail. A small white rectangular adhesive label with the handwritten numeral 7 is attached to the side of the bird figurine. No maker's names, signatures, or etched marks are readable on any of the pieces.
