A Cased Set of Six Silver-Plated Teaspoons and a Pair of Sugar Tongs - A set of six teaspoons and one pair of sugar tongs, presented in a fitted case. The teaspoons are made of silver-plated nickel silver and feature bright-cut engraved handles decorated with floral and foliate motifs. The matching sugar tongs are of a plain, bow-ended form without engraving. The pieces bear impressed marks on the reverse of the stems, comprising the letters E and P, followed by a shield-shaped cartouche containing an indistinct device, and the letters N and S. The maker mark within the shield is not legible. The items are housed in a black textured case with a blue velvet base and a white satin lid lining. Two adhesive labels are attached to the interior lid lining: a rectangular orange label reading 47 and a white label reading 7 7.
