A Collection of Decorative Ceramic Teaware and an Art Deco Style Pitcher - A collection of decorative ceramics comprising a tall earthenware pitcher, an angular teapot, and several items of lustreware. The tall pitcher is of slender form with a flat, geometric handle finished with purple highlights. It features a hand-painted landscape depicting a female figure in traditional dress standing beneath a tree with cascading purple wisteria blossoms against a cream-coloured, crackle-glazed ground. The teapot is of angular, faceted construction with an ornate handle and spout. It is decorated with gilt scrolling foliate patterns around the rim and lid, surrounding a central transfer-printed vignette of a floral garden. The lid is topped with a small gilt finial and bears a white adhesive label reading 14 and an orange adhesive price sticker reading 5/-. The porcelain lustreware set comprises a cup and saucers finished in a bright orange-gold lustre glaze. These pieces are decorated with hand-painted Oriental-inspired scenes featuring figures, pagodas, and trees. A white adhesive label reading 14 is present on the cup, and an orange adhesive price sticker reading 15/- is fixed to a saucer. A further white adhesive label reading 14 is visible on the upper saucer.
