The knives feature stainless steel blades and cream-coloured celluloid handles. The forks are silver-plated with flared terminals; any marks present on the forks are not clearly legible. The knife blades are marked with a circular stamp featuring the word UNITY at the centre, with STAINLESS curved above and SHEFFIELD curved below. The service is presented in its original fitted, paper-covered box with a cream lining and integrated holders. The box bears a small white adhesive label with the number 4 and a larger orange price label with the number 70.
