An Assortment of Earthenware and Stoneware Ceramics - A collection of miscellaneous domestic ceramic and stoneware items. The lot includes a large earthenware teapot with a chocolate-brown glazed base and lid, featuring a cream-coloured shoulder decorated with hand-painted stylized floral motifs in orange and black. An orange adhesive sticker reading 76 is attached to the lid. A ceramic preserve jar is finished in a cream glaze with a flip-top lid secured by a metal wire-bale mechanism. The lid is hand-lettered in brown script with the words Pear and Poire repeated twice. An orange adhesive sticker reading 76 is also present on this lid. A lidded figural jar features a base with a yellow and brown vertical banded barrel pattern and a textured green lid with a moulded orange reclining animal figure. A small white adhesive label reading 4 is adhered to this lid. The collection further contains a grey-brown earthenware jug with an incised geometric cross-hatch pattern and a cream-glazed interior, a small stoneware jug in a pale celadon-grey glaze, and a large cream-coloured footed vessel or chalice. Three utility jars are present: one tall two-tone salt-glazed jar with a tan upper section and cream body, one cylindrical cream-glazed jar, and one small jar with a dark brown glaze. No manufacturer names or backstamps are legible on the visible surfaces of these items.
