KL Flossenbürg Camp ID Patch Polish Inmate - Holocaust
Ultra rare and 100% genuine identification cloth patch with camp number (Kennzeichen) and red triangle (Winkel) with the P inside to identify the prisoner as a Polish political prisoner. This patch was originally stitched to the striped jacket or dress of the prisoner. Number is painted with a stencil and triangle is made with a red cloth patch and the P sewn inside it with white thread. It shows a lot of use due to the condition of dirt and crease.This woman was called Sofia Kania, and we found records of this Polish woman in KL Flossenbürg archives. KANIA SOFIA 04/22/1924 51301 KL Flossenburg and after she was sent to KL Ravensbruck. We think this patch might have been used in KL Flossenbürg.An very difficult to find KL memorabilia item!
