KL Stutthof Lithuanian Prisoner Metal ID Tag n.79770
Ultra rare KL Stutthof Lithuanian prisoner metal ID tag. KL Stutthof was one of the only camps where this kind of ID tags were used sewn to the pants and jacket. They were handmade in the workshops of the concentration camp, therefore all are different. As you can see it has 4 small holes on each corner to stitch it to the garments. This one has the winkel or triangle with an L engraved inside that stands for Litauer (Lithuanian). Many of these were found during excavations in the surrounding area of the camp where they were thrown when prisoners died among with many other belongings, occult in dumps. This one has also stamped the number of the prisoner 79770 and it's in very good condition. A very rare piece of history directly connected to Holocaust from the concentration camp of the Danzig area!
