A Framed Joan Crawford Player's Cigarette Card. - (John Player & Sons, 1938) A Joan Crawford cigarette card from the third series of film star cards by Player?s Cigarettes. The card (no. 9) features a biography of Crawford on the reverse and has been floated in a frame, with no adhesive applied. Measuring 6” x 5” framed, the card displays in very good condition with light staining around the bottom and right edges of the card. The frame's paper backing, which includes a brief history of tobacco cards, is chipping and lifting around the edges, but this is not visible from the front.
