Date: 1926-1936 (model).
Technique: Bronze, brown patinated.
Measurement: 36 x 23 x 29cm.
Notation: Signed on the base of the left back side of the neck: Kollwitz.
Foundry Mark: Beside it foundry mark: H. NOACK BERLIN.
Dr. Annette Seeler, author of the catalogue raisonné of the sculpture by Käthe Kollwitz, considers the present copy of the "Selbstbildnis" of the artist to be an authorised posthumous cast from the 1970s-1980s according to the present state of knowledge.
