CLASSICIST ZINK CHANDELIER - CLASSICIST ZINK CHANDELIER. Date: Ca. 1830s. Maker/Designer: Design of Karl Friedrich Schinkel, Berlin 1825. Technique: Cast zink, gilt, iron, bronze. Glass, etched blue and with cut decor. Description: Hoop with stylized cherubs, radiant ornament, and C-swings. Among these, six suspended chandelier arms with tendrils and chalice-shaped palmette spouts. Inserted into the hoop a shallow glass bowl with floral decoration. Measurement: Ø 72cm, height ca. 77cm.
