Reference-No: 2111-15. Description: 3-hand chronograph with 30-minute counter at ”3” o'clock, date display at ”8:30” o'clock and off-centre seconds at ”10” o'clock. At the end of the 1960s, the race for the first automatic chronograph calibre came to a head. On 10th January 1969, Zenith presented its ”El Primero”, and just a few weeks later, on 3rd March 1969, Heuer-Leonidas, Dubois Dépraz, Hamilton-Buren and Breitling presented their jointly developed Chronomatic calibre family. The mechanism of the 1969 Breitling Chrono-Matic 2111-15 is based on the Buren calibre 1282 with micro-rotor, which was not designed for the addition of a chronograph mechanism. This resulted in the crown being placed on the left side of the case. Vault watch, despite its age the watch is in excellent condition. From the collection of an important Cologne watch connoisseur.
