Technique: Porcelain, purple ground, enriched in polychrome and gold. Description: On a purple background, four-pass cartouches framed in gold with scenes of merchant ships. Tureen with double C-handles on the sides. Lid with a fully sculpted knob in the shape of a grape with vine tendrils. Measurement: Height of the tureen with lid 15,5cm/ Ø of presentoire 23,5cm. Mark: Crossed swords mark in underglaze blue, presentoire with embossed mark on foot rim, tureen with embossed number '22'. Provenance: Bavarian private collection.
