Gemstones: 5 small rubies in carree-cut, 16 rectangular turquoises in cabochon-cut, 8 gemstones, round and pear-shaped, in cabochon-cut, alternating rubies, sapphires and emeralds. Description: A striking and decorative brooch, crafted by Kern in Paris. The feathers of the bird of paradise are finely engraved in yellow gold. On the reverse, the individual parts are secured with small screws. Signed ”Kern”, with a unique individual number and a French hallmark on the clasp.
