Designer: Model by Johann Joachim Kaendler, 1760. Material: Porcelain, enriched in polychrome and gold. Measurement: Height (with pedastal) 50.5 cm. Mark: Painted blue under glaze swords mark, incised number, model no. '2707' (incised). Description: A square-sectioned pedestal resting on four rocaille feet. The rocaille cartouches on the front sides are decorated with bouquets of flowers. A baluster-shaped body mounted on a moulded and relief-carved round base. Side handles in the shape of curved palm leaves. Beneath these, fully sculpted cherub figures. A domed, openwork lid topped with a uniform, fully sculpted bouquet of flowers. On the front, a depiction of a courtly couple out for a stroll; on verso, a lavish bouquet of flowers. Framed by applied garlands of flowers and fruit.
