Material: Ebony, reverse-painting using the Églomisé technique with gold leaf, opaque and transparent paints, mirror glass. Measurement: 86 x 74 cm. Description: Moulding frame with inlaid floral motifs and bundles of trophies, crafted using the Églomisé technique. Provenance: - - Siegfried Lämmle, art and antiques dealer, Munich. - Sold at auction on 28–29 June 1938 by Adolf Weinmüller, Munich, following a professional ban imposed due to persecution and the forced closure of the Lämmle art dealership. Acquired there by art dealer Julius Böhler, Munich. - Purchased by the Museum of Decorative Arts, Cologne, in September 1938 from Julius Böhler, Munich. - Restituted by the City of Cologne to the heirs of Siegfried Lämmle in July 2025.
