Mark: Stamped on the upper left frame: “CAREL” (Jacques-Philippe Carel, master craftsman in 1723, active 1724–1750) and “JVE” (inspection mark of the Paris Cabinetmakers' Guild). Description: Single-door cabinet with floral scrollwork, framed centrally by fire-gilded bronze mountings featuring C-curves and rocaille motifs.
