Material: Porcelain, enriched in polychrome and gold. Measurement: Height (tea bowl) 4.3 cm, Ø (saucer) 12 cm. Mark: Painted blue under glaze swords marks, gold number '41' (on both pieces), potter's mark in base for Gottfried Seydel and presumably for Paul Wildenstein. Description: A hemispherical body mounted on a small stand. Matching saucer with a flared rim. A delicate gold-laced border along the edges. Decorated with finely painted scenes of maritime trade in cartouches, framed by foliage, scrollwork, and lustrous fields. 'Indian' floral paintings on the underside of the saucer and on the base of the tea bowl.
