SERIES OF SIX PORCELAIN TEA BOWLS WITH SAUCERS - MEISSEN Title: SERIES OF SIX PORCELAIN TEA BOWLS WITH SAUCERS. Date: ca. 1730/1735. Designer: Decor Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt workshop. Material: Porcelain, enriched in polychrome and gold. Measurement: Height (tea bowl) 4.2cm, Ø (tea bowl) 7.1cm, (saucer) 12.2 cm. Mark: Swordsmark painted blue under glaze, gold number '67' (on all pieces), partly incised mark in the base, once incised number. Description: On a short base a small, bell-shaped tea bowl with flared lip rim. Flat moulded saucers with slightly rising rim. Finely painted with chinoseries within gold-framed reserves with luster fields (?), as well as foliage and strap work in iron red and purple. The tea bowl has 'Indian' floral paintings on the bottom.
