Illustrated with 6 full-page engravings (coins) and 11 beautiful engraved plates (Byzantine art) outside collation at the end of vol. 3. Some foxing, a few lvs. heavily browned. Contemporary vellum bindings, titles in ink on spine, some loss of vellum at the ends of the spines. Overall in good condition Provenance: Bibl. Hageveld. First edition of the famous dictionary of post-classical Latin (medieval and Neo-Latin), composed by Charles Du Cange (1610-1688).
