A Dutch Staartklok - Friesland, with a central seconds hand and a clockwork mechanism with an Abraham's Sacrifice anchor mechanism, ca. 1840. Painted dial with a three-part mechanism in the arch, a movement with a quarter-hour strike on two bells and an alarm function. A unique design with a central seconds hand, rare in Frisian clocks. Attributed to the renowned Tasma family of clockmakers from Grou. Length: 147 cm.
